Miss Christian United States 2010

Sarah Klauck is currently a first-year Masters student at Lakeland College. "I'm pursuing a degree in Counseling and plan to work in the Mental Health field." In May 2009, she received a Bachelors degree in Psychology and in Music, from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.

Ever since she was a young girl, she has been involved in community outreach. "I volunteer with my church – St. Peter Claver Catholic Parish." Currently with her church, she is also a cantor, a member of the contemporary choir, and the hand-bell choir, and is the co-director of the children's choir. "I am also working on my second CD of Christian music. I love to share the talents that God bestowed upon me. Like in Psalms 100- ‘Make a joyful noise to the Lord!' Through singing and music, I feel a close connection with the Lord."

"I am so excited to be the reigning Miss Christian United States. There are so many things that I want to accomplish throughout the year." Two organizations that Sarah is partnering with to achieve these purposes are Autism Speaks and Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America.

Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America is a very important organization to her. "My cousin Andy was diagnosed with Colitis and Crohns disease when he was around 12 years old. Since then he has had to have numerous surgeries, visits to the doctor, and have been placed on many different medications for this disease." Autism Speaks is an organization that promotes awareness of the most prevalent childhood disease. "A child is diagnosed with Autism every 20 minutes. This disease is a very issue important for me because I work as an applied behavioral therapist for children who have Autism." As the reigning Miss Christian United States she wants to help increase awareness about these diseases and be a pioneer in raising money for them.

As a part of her reign, Sarah has also partnered with JesusGroupie.com; a fierce, new, Christian clothing and accessory company as their first Model of the Year and Spokesperson! "What better way to send out a message of who you serve than through the clothes we choose to wear? Sarah has a heart for impacting this generation and we're so happy to have her on board!" – J. When she is not involved in activities with her school or church, she enjoys singing, coaching basketball, knitting, watching movies, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. "Once again I am very excited to be your 2010 Miss Christian United States, Sarah Klauck. I am anxious to follow in God's path, and use all he has given me to bless others."
